Hello. First off I have been viewing this forum for over two years and this is a great place. I’ve had a 23 Lariat since Feb 2024 and it is by far the best vehicle I have owned.

Apologies if this has been covered in another thread. I could not find anything via the
search.

I charge +95% of the time at home on the FCSP that came with the truck. I went to charge at work this morning (I have previously charged there no issues), and instead of charging it said “charging paused”. I then looked at the global settings and they are all at zero. After resetting them, I tried again, and same results. The defaults went back to zero. I then drove to a local Tesla supercharger and it timed out there as well. Has anyone had this issue?

I then did a master sync reset, redid my phone as key, etc. and the same results. I did go back home and it is still charging there.

background: the blue cruise 1.4 update failed and sync started glitching so I took it into the dealership to have them push the update. After the update, bc 1.4 still does not work due to a couple of the toggles not staying engaged and when I go to enter the backup passcode, no key board is presented to type the PW. Still an open issue.

I can take the truck back to the dealership but I have zero confidence that they can correct any software issues.

Looks like you used FORScan to enable the 2025 enhanced charging screen? That's known to be mostly broken on prior model years. Does hitting update charge limit do anything? I usually change my % in the app but can't remember if I've tried changing it from the center screen after adding the enhanced charging screen.

I have not used FS on this truck, although I will if I can correct the issue and keep it out of the dealership. This was all done at the dealership. When I change the charge limit, it will jump back to 0%. thanks.

That's the behavior we've noticed after enabling the 2025 charging screen. None of the settings will stick on the global preferences screen. Not sure how you would've gotten that from the dealer on a 23 without any Forscan changes. Does it show the charge rate at the top right similar to the below when charging? Does your work show under Target Charge Locations in the Ford app or under charging preferences on the truck? Yes it shows the charge rate (in kmph).

work was erased as a target charge location at the dealership when they did a master reset a few weeks ago. I added back home but not work as today was the first time attempting to charge there. when I go to add work, it tells me I cannot add a location until I have charged there.

The dealership said they updated all the modules. No idea how this screen is present. I’m glad this happened before I took a road trip.

thanks for linking the thread. I should probably take it back to the dealership, but given my past experience and their lack of responsiveness, I have my reservations. I’m hesitant to make changes and then have them accuse me of messing it up. I just want it fixed. Thanks again.

Try driving the truck for a couple miles, to orientate the GPS positioning.

Plug in and let unrestricted charging begin, hopefully deleting the prior locations will allow it to charge while at work.

If this works, manually monitor how high it get's then stop the session when you reach your normal maximum SOC.

I’m back home. Both the FSCP and my wife’s level 1 charger work, so it is location based even though I do not have my home saved as a location. Can this be rolled back in forscan?

also, try a 'boot' reset by detaching your 12v Battery NEGATIVE Terminal for a minute... never hurts to try.

also, try to DC Fast Charge, too...

Wonder if they changed something at your office. If it's working on your FCSP, it doesn't sound like a truck issue. And I'm assuming you don't have any charging times set if they reset everything. Out of curiosity go to - FordServiceInfo.Com , enter your vin and hit download. After some time thinking, it should show values. Post what you have for 7D0-10-04

I own the charger at work. Standard Rivian 48A charger than I’ve used dozens of times. I also tried the Tesla super charger before and after doing a factory reset and it spun for a couple of minutes and then faulted out.

Thanks for the info. Here is what showed up.

yup. Looks like you have the advanced charging. 6 is what I changed to on my 23 to enable it. Factory was 4. AFAIk, you would be the only non-25 that has managed to get that screen without forscan. Below is the snippet that @Jesse-Infotainment provided in that thread. No guarantee it'll fix the issue but you should at least be able to get back to the old charging screen. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/f150-lightning-forscan-thread-version-2.23634 You might can check there if anyone is local to you or you can just order the adapter and use the free 2 month license. Easy peasy if you have a windows machine. Amazon.com: OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter : Automotive

I will give it a try and report back. I have an older OBD with the switch so I’ll order a new one.
