This is a mixture of hwy 60mph and local road driving.

Point is, if the last time you drove touched a lot of efficiency hot buttons, (low speed, ambient temp, stop and go driving, light on the accelerator) then the calculated miles at 100% charge will be higher. I recommend not taking the miles number too seriously, and only focus on the percentage. Once you start a trip, the remaining miles number will continue to adjust based on the efficiency hot buttons that change.

However over a period of time, if the miles number consistently decreases, then you may be experiencing some battery losses.

My Lightning at 63k miles is showing no loss, but my MME at 85k miles might be showing a 5% loss.

But both vehicles have exceeded my expectations. I honestly do not understand why these vehicles aren’t selling better than they are? Ford needs to advertise, advertise, advertise. When was the last time you saw Ford EV advertisement on TV?

Recently charged my 2024 Flash (still the larger ER battery, not the down-sized Flash for '25) to 100% and found the GOM to read 334. This was surprisingly high, but also understandable, as the GOM extrapolated from a lot of local 35-45 mph driving at high efficiency. The 190 mile mixed driving round trip I charged up for, at 35 mph/ 45 mph/ 65 mph for most of it, left me with 140 miles still on the GOM upon returning home. So the GOM, surprisingly, was actually accurate with its prediction.

Here’s my ‘24 Lariat back in April when I actually shut the power down when parked throughout the day because the weather was perfect.

Here in Orlando/CFL there’s zero change in elevation, so good tire pressure and no jackrabbit traffic light starts gets you fantastic city range with an EV.

Now that it’s hotter than hell’s oven I just leave it powered up all day to keep the AC running, and the identical driving habits get me about 355ish on the same 95% charge.

I drive in sport mode, spend a lot of time coasting in neutral and drive the speed limit. Mileage is calculated based on the last trip m/kwh data. I've driven EVs for 13 years and if you watch your consumption, you can get more efficient. As much fun as the awesome acceleration is, it obviously consumes much more energy than the typical ICE vehicle acceleration. Keep your center dash display on the trip data. We live in Colorado, so a trip up to the high country obviously consumes more, but regenerative breaking (especially in sport mode) really increases m/kwh.

braking...

Modes don't increase efficiency, there is regen braking in all modes. I hope you're not saying you shift to N and coast...

Driving the speed limit is out of scope for me. But I am intrigued to hear about coasting in Neutral.

I find it difficult to believe one could achieve 3.0mpk without regen. Seems pretty safe to assume he means lifting off the go pedal.

Shifting to neutral and coasting is counterproductive. Doing that eliminates the possibility of any brake regeneration. The only time I shift to neutral is to burn rust off the rotors, due to lack of use (regeneration braking).

My 80 % showed 335 this morning. But I know it's a result of driving locally only and being conservative on the pedals. But I'll take it.
....and ideal climate.
