Looking to install additional charger, its either wallbox 48 hardwired or emporia. Looking to get feedback from you guys. So far good things about emporia. Thanks

Emporia user here, it works fine. I don't do anything fancy, plug it in and it charges till full, that's it.

Cable and handle are annoying when winding it up every day, but I don't see how it's any different than any other charger would be.

If Emporia made an 80A version I'd consider removing my FCSP if the dollars made sense.

Well that depends. We don’t know which truck he has. I have a 23 lariat ER which can charge up to 80amps.

Happy I got a 2023 Platinum with 80A FCP Hardwired.

Just keep in mind that this doesn’t apply to NM (Romex) which is limited to 60°C ampacity.

The OP is in New York City and getting his supplies from work which means he's almost certainly got wire in pipe or large size MC cable. Except for newer 1 and 2 family homes, NYC is one of those places like Chicago where if you see Romex, you know you're looking at a code violation.

No violation here everything up to code. Just finish doing a 400amp service in the house. Everything is inspected

I seem to recall they got rid of the dual chargers for 2024. I have a 2023 XLT LR and it supports 80 amps through the Charge Station Pro as well. It's a beast.
