Does anyone have experience with the collision avoidance on the Lightning? Mine has never gone off, even with a close call, It works in reverse but that is a completely different system. My previous 2023 Lightning was the same.
When looking around in Forscan, I thought I saw a setting that said it was turned off???
My Subaru constantly reminds me it doesn't like the way I drive!
This can't be just a Lightning problem???

Which part of it?

Have a look at the Ford website for more information on what it does and how it works.

Check your in truck screen for settings.

IIRC, there is a setting for how reactive it is, I dialed mine back because it was having a nervous breakdown with the way I like to drive.

I believe options to manage it are in Features > Driver Assistance > Pre-Collision. Think mine is currently on low because it otherwise freaks out when coming up a double driveway too quickly past cars.

If the sensors are dirty it will disable automatically, you'll have a yellow icon on your dash and I believe it warns you that it is disabled when the truck starts.
