Has anyone taken their vehicle in for service with this installed? Does it void the warranty in any way?

I mean, they're always going to try, but ultimately the onus is on them to prove it caused the issue. Before going in for warranty service I'd remove it anyway just to be sure it wasn't causing an issue anyway.Has anyone taken their vehicle in for service with this installed? They have to prove the comma wass the issue:Has anyone taken their vehicle in for service with this installed? Does it void the warranty in any way?
I just dropped my truck off after having some random ABS shutter when trying to stop from a slow speed (think approaching the stop sign in your neighborhood) that eventually threw "Service Brake System" ABS Fault etc errors. They have to prove the comma wass the issue:

There has been one guy who had a hard time with his dealer, so he just pulled the entire system out, let them do the warranty, then he reinstalled.
My advice is if you are going in for any kind of module updates or things that include programming, remove the harness. If you are going in for mechanical work, it's fine to just unplug the comma at the USB port.
Sounds like your service advisor is grasping at straws to see if you admit to anything that they can use against you.I just dropped my truck off after having some random ABS shutter when trying to stop from a slow speed (think approaching the stop sign in your neighborhood) that eventually threw "Service Brake System" ABS Fault etc errors.
Removed the Q4 harness and took the comma off of the sliding mount, they updated modules under warranty related to a TSB of sorts but then the service advisor tried mentioning the "accessories on by the mirror" could be causing the issues....the only thing plugged in right now is a Garmin dash cam.
Oh I had a feeling it was coming, but the fact they're trying to find a reason to blame it on something other than a janky module is interesting.Sounds like your service advisor is grasping at straws to see if you admit to anything that they can use against you.
Nope. Silence is golden. They have to prove that your accessory caused the issue.
Spoiler: It didn't.
Perhaps I'm missing something from a previous post, but where do i go on bluepilot.dev to order this?Okay guys, i was able to make a modified version of the C4 dock that uses the 90-degree lightning coupler we devloped for the C3X dock. It is 8mm longer in a few spots, but you will never notice. We only have 9 of these 90s left, so it will be first come first serve on the docks with intergrated couplers. It doesn't make financial sense for us to order more 90 degree couplers, so once the 9 we have are sold out, you will just need to use a 180 degree coupler, which we have plenty of in stock.

What's the difference between the "standard mount" and the "8 degree" mount...other than the obvious...8 degrees? Trying to order the mount for the comma that's currently on B/O.Order our dock here: https://bluepilot.dev/dock-order-page/
Edit: the link was in the video description, but you would have had to watch on youtube to see it.
it actually doesn’t matter for a comma 4 because there is only one mount type. But the order form will let you also order a dock for a 3X, and for that one, it matters. Vehicles with steeper windshields like trucks needed a mount with 8 degrees of slope so the camera wasn’t pointed at the hood when installed. What's the difference between the "standard mount" and the "8 degree" mount...other than the obvious...8 degrees? Thanks!
