Estimated Delivery Date keeps changing

As usual, you are a source of sanity and its appreciated. Candidly though, Ford, and I usually like them and their cars (have owned about a dozen), is just gargantuanly disorganized with this whole effort. Someone at the company is making decisions. They aren't communicating those decisions downward/outward to either the customers or the dealers. So they now have hordes of otherwise nice, patient, enthusiastic customers really pissed off at them.

This stuff is always avoidable, and Ford is looking incredibly disorganized here

It may appear to you that Ford is disorganized, but in reality, they are the king in vehicle manufacturing and it's a bad time to get a vehicle no matter what brand due to parts shortages and logistics issues.

My past experience has shown me that Ford will actually try to get shipments out on or ahead of schedule.

2 cases in point:

• '22 Lightning was pushed up 3 weeks in build date from July to June and delivered a month early.
• 
  
• '23 Mustang Mach E (MME) originally scheduled for February '23 delivery is now pushed up to first week January '23 delivery.

For me, Ford has exceeded my expectations.
Ford has demonstrated "under promise, over deliver".

I missed my 2nd delivery window by a week, then got a delivery range of 7-8 weeks later, then received my truck 2 days after the change... we had a messy delivery schedule in 10/24 build week but that seems to be the norm at the moment unfortunately.

Have you received any convoy/rail info from Ford CS? That will help you know if they are close or way off.

I finally got a delivery date on the 10/24 build - estimated Dec 17 to 23. No email but showed on the ford.com web site.The 10/24 build week has been nuts with deletes of heated steering wheel and scale.

Mine changed yet again last night.. now 12/16-12/22

Theoretically, this may happen, as the dealer says they can now see it assigned to a transport company. I continue to be dubious

FYI, my date changed every few days for weeks. Still didn't even show as shipped. Then all of a sudden, yesterday, the dealer called and said its on the lot and I can pick it up. Ford.com still didn't show as shipped even.

Then late yesterday afternoon, I got an email from Ford saying it was time to pay.....

Clearly their IT group and manufacturing and distribution team aren't working too well together.

Words of wisdom for the rest of you still waiting for your trucks, I frequently watched ETA's shift +/- a few days within a day or so of the truck landing at the dealerships, observations of 100's of trucks delivered on the tracker.

Sorry for this dumb question but where did one find this ETA?

That is not my truck, it is the forums last MY2022 truck pending delivery to @Broonarmy in Cali....

Also most of us MY22 order makers waited MANY weeks to be assigned a production week
