Otherwise, if you are on a job site, it may be best to keep the truck powered on (even though it's in drive-off condition) so it doesn't auto-stop PPO.
It's not in drive off condition unless you leave a key inside. It won't shift out of park.

Can you explain what you did for this one? It is also known as IPC Quick Boot (IPC = instrument panel cluster or dash). There have been several attempts at this but iirc they were unsuccessful. I’ll add to post 1. Thanks!
I'll try to look into it when I get a chance as I am at work, but I think it was this one from the
Disabling F-150 Lightning's Beeps, Dings, Chimes, Honks, Bings, Bongs, and Dongs thread:

  • BONUS: IPC quick boot. This disables the annoying (albeit inaudible) Ford advertisement that takes over your screen when the vehicle boots. IPC 720-07-01 xxxx xxxx 2xxx

Do you get to a meaningful screen any sooner? I dont mind the display, but the amount of time everything takes is annoying.

I feel like it is a lot better, imo. If only I could get wireless AA to kick in quicker, lol.

@Rocky514 your videos are of the Sync screen. But the mod is on the IPC. That’s the Instrument Panel Cluster, the screen behind the steering wheel where speed and battery are displayed. Folks have reported earlier in this thread that the IPC boot graphics don’t change with this mod. See discussion starting at post 289.

I originally had this mod in post 1 - as well as others from the Beeps, Dings thread. But I removed this one since folks said it did nothing. It came from the ICE forums.

I’ll try to do before and after testing soon.

I just tried using Forscan for the first time. After saving the data from all modules, I tried to enable Silent Mode. I was able to make the change in the APIM module successfully, but when I try to write the changes to BdyCM I get an error "Writing Blocks Failed - Incompatible configuration".
The write seems to work at first, and the progress bar goes all the way to the end before jumping back to about 50%. Then I hear a couple of clicks, and it seems like the infotainment system restarts, then the error comes up.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong to get this?

When you make a suggested change you are only changing the character that is shown to change right? You don't mess with the last two characters? In most all cases as those are check sums that the system will calculate for you.

Yes, only editing the specific characters. Though, for the first BCM setting, that's the whole thing except for the last 2 characters.
What it seems like is the write finishes and the module restarts, but forscan is still trying to do something and fails since the module is rebooting.
That said, I just realized after posting that I do see the silent mode option in the settings now, and it did seem to be muting the walk away lock honk, so maybe it worked.

My only other thought is make sure you have the most current version of FORScan. The 2024's had issues also when they first came out because FORScan didn't fully support some 2024 modules yet. Might look back at this thread to see if any 2025's installed something with the BCM successfully (only a couple mods involve the BCM).

Could be you have discovered an issue but I would think others would have reported it by now (unless BCM specific).
