Sorry if I am a little slow but I am a little confused by the directions and I want to ensure I understand the coding before going any further.

I am starting with FORScan by trying to change my mirrors to Lincoln style. I can see from the keys above that the first two nodes of PDM key remain unchanged. I can also see the first two characters of the third node should be '01'. But what do the dashes represent in '01--'? Are we supposed to blank out those characters or leave what is there as is (what the 'x' represents). It does not work to just change the third node from '0016' (which is what it was) to '01' nor does '0100' work.

Thanks,
The dashes represent checksum digits and should be calculated automatically by forscan.

That makes sense, thank you.

However, I changed both DDM and PDM to the 10 value and my mirrors are not auto-folding. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Also, am I right in assuming if the DDM value was working correctly, but the PDM value was still 00 then the driver mirror would fold and the passenger mirror would not?

I just purchased this kit from infotainment.com: https://www.infotainment.com/collec...in-sense-wiper-upgrade?variant=40409038848036

They told me it would work on the lightning, I just got it in the mail and will keep you guys posted on how it goes!
I installed the rain sensor, wire, and wiper stalk today. Took me about 20 minutes total, it was super fast and easy! Couple things I noticed:

1. Rain sensor install: There was already a spot and wire there for it in the stock harness, I have an SR Lariat 510A package. I just had to pull the plastic out of the way, I DID NOT remove the rear view mirror, I had plenty of room to work. I used their provided harness that I ran down to the clock spring harness, since I didn't want to continuity test the wire to the clock spring. My guess, based on what I could see, it would have worked with the factory wires, this might not be the case for all F150's though which is why I speculate they include the harness to cover all installation types.

2. Wiper stalk install: The only difference I could tell was the little A(auto) painted on the stalk, my guess is the stalk my truck had would have worked if the programming on the back-end was completed/enabled as well and the stack swap was merely cosmetic and for a future owner so they know it has the automatic wipers installed. But again, I couldn't confirm since my programming hasn't been updated yet.

3. Programming: This is scheduled for later in the week with them. They sent me a windows tablet with an OBDLink EX cable, which I asked them prior to purchasing this option if I could just connect them to my machine with the same cable and program, they said no. I understand why but also I am kind of annoyed about it since they said my cable wouldn't work, they shouldn't have lied about it.

Anything I should do before-hand that you guys want to see and compare before and after?

Screen record their entries in FORScan so we can stop them from gouging people for an extra $300 on that tablet? 😇

these are the entries i made today for my rain sensor but i did not get rain sense on the setting menu afterwards. i confirmed in the OP spreadsheet that the values were correct versus what i currently had, and i re-loaded the values to confirm the changes were made. i must be missing a step.

Never mind. I went for a drive an hour later and now it’s in the the menu. I cycled the car but that must not have been enough. Whether it works or not is a different story.

Anyone know if changing the tire size is doable?
Have you found the ability to change tire size yet? I would like that too. Put on my Winter tires on XLT rims and the tires are a bit smaller, so my truck think's it's putting on more miles than it actually is by about 5%

Unfortunately not. I’m just playing with the idea of smaller rims 17”s and a matching tire size to oem.

I'm considering paying the dealership their $100 Fee to change it for me. Scan the truck before and after and see what they changed. If I do I'll share it. Someone should benefit form the dealerships greed.

I found the ability to change the tire size! YAY! I used this set of instructions.

https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15994

The tire circumference calculator gave me a place to start, then I took a GPS and just kept playing with the number to tune it in. The calculator said my tire size was 2563mm, but what worked was 2437mm. Hope this helps.

I'm adding running board lighting. The connector is there and sends 12v when doors open, unlock on fob is pressed, etc but is not present on zone lighting screen. Has anyone figured out how to add running board lights to zone lighting?

Attempting to do the Glare Free Headlights and I am having some trouble I think. Truck is a Lariat 511

I am noticing the following after all the coding:
1) I have green "A" on Dash

2) Do not have glare free options in my settings menu under lights. Still has Auto high beams in menu
.
3) The lights do not go side to side on initial start up, do they still do that with glare free enabled.

4) Also noticed under 734-11-01 I can not get the "89" to stick, it always reverts back to "39" I'll write it but it will go back to 39

5) I am also getting a DTC HCM checksum error that I can not clear

6) Do I need to restart after I program each module or can I do it after I get them all done. And what's the best way to restart/reboot. I have the truck on, not started, and I just hit the start/stop button to shut off then back on.

One other thing I noticed once it didn't appear Glare free was working I went back to my original config. After that i noticed in the settings menu the option for glare free headlights had replaced auto high beams.

Any thoughts or help on what I might be doing wrong would be appreciated.
thanks

I can confirm this works, however why are you messing with he 726-39-02 BCM?

I didn't have to touch that for it to work properly.

This is the correct code for a lighting to get rain sensor / wipers working:

7D0-09-04 x3xx-xxxx-xx—
720-02-02. xx8x-xx—
724-02-01 xxxx-xC4x- —
