Reserved first day, about 11 hours in.
Invited to Ford's factory launch event last April. They thought I had one on order, but I hadn't been given the "opportunity to order" yet.
Got the opportunity to order in November, passed due to price increases and lack of tax credit.
Found demo units that fit what I wanted around the country, but wife said nope, not having 2 EVs.
Wife changed her mind Earth Day weekend.
Found what was left, made arrangements on one with a fallback.
Dealership met my requirements that the truck get fully updated on all modules, took an entire day, finished at end of business last Thursday.
Flew to St. Louis, dealership picked me up and drove me an hour and a half to dealership. Checked truck over, signed papers, and headed out around 1:30PM CST.
3 flawless charging stops, including one for an hour from 14 to 90%, made it to the next stop with 26% left, charged to 60% (midnight at a Sam's Club), made it home with 14% left at 1:45AM EST.
Long day, but worth it.
