Funny you mention the 12v. The truck was at dealer over the past few days, recall and leaking frunk lights, and I wondered if they did not put on maintainer. So I did L2 charge overnight. Checked this morning and general health of the 12v seems good, so will reset app and try again.

Yes, sometimes they forget to put it on a power supply when it should be and then it can reach a low SOC during an update and then the truck sheds loads, and that can cause random seeming issues.

It has become the number one suspect when anything strange goes wrong because the truck just doesn't seem to manage it well...and why I put mine on a maintainer to head off any issues.

Good luck!

If they were messing around with wiring they might have disconnected something like an antenna wire to the comms by accident.

The symptom of drop outs and the paak issue sounds like it could be an antenna wire problem.

I'd love it if they told us what the bug fixes were on these releases!!

Remote Climate start still doesn't custom adjust the seat heat levels (3,2,1)

First world problems

Always something...
I think the paak uses bluetooth but the app uses a cell signal to the Ford cloud server, OTAs can come in via your home wifi...still they all require an antenna connection to work at a distance.

A lot of connectivity...when it works

Just realized I had this update when I noticed the bluetooth button. I always carry the FOB but for those using PAAK It allows you to remotely (when in BT range) open the tailgate or frunk. Everything else seems to work fine.

I'll ask!
Thanks.

BTW...see this thread about a PPOB reserve problem!

https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/pro-power-reserve-limit-fails.35984/

It is affecting my truck and @dmd3home the OP.

We both have 2023 MY and it worked fine before some recent up date.

One of these two updates:

2026-04-15 Software Update OPBCC-AS.AU
2026-03-06 SYNC-25-2-1-6-5 2

The OP thinks it might be the March update to the SYNC system.

Hurricane season is approaching and it would be a real problem if in an outage, the PPOB shut off suddenly before reaching the reserve!

Thanks
