Ford Pass v5.22.0 iOS & Android

Are NON EAP or NON {Android / ios beta testers} now seeing this ?

For the moment I've set a BETA flag on the title to reduce unrequited anticipation until we get to the bottom of who are the current beneficiaries of this release!

I had the EAP version installed on my phone and iPad but when the release appeared in the app store this morning I loaded the released version to my iPad. It still showed the ProPower option.

I just logged out on my iPad and logged back in and the option is now gone. It appears that there are two versions of Fordpass with the same version number. In my working life I was responsible for a number of software applications and if there had ever been two versions sent to customers with the same version number I probably would have been fired.

Seriously Ford, where do you get your software engineers from?

A simple API call that a new graduate could implement in their sleep to bring the user directly to the manual for his/her vehicle based on vehicle(s) already in the app and you can’t even do that? Why bother!

Currently I'm still on Android fordpass 5.21. I have a blank screen for 3 days on the fordpass. For once could we have a smooth roll out on updates!!!

You are forgetting to include the build number. In the betas you can have multiple builds with the same version number, but only one public build with that version number. The current beta release is "5.22.0" but also includes a build number after it.

Also Ford can use feature flags per user, so the app version alone doesn't necessarily mean you should see a new feature. For what it's worth, I'm on the latest iOS beta and I do not have the Pro Power feature enabled.

It would be nice if Ford would at least provide some feedback to us in EAP. An email that said “thanks for testing ProPower but it’s not ready so it won’t be in this release” would have been helpful.

The truck has pro power but the app does not. I will see after I start the truck and turn on the power in the bed and frunk.

I can tell you that the plug and charge map is even faster. And is showing more stations without the need to trick it by moving the map around and zooming in and out. The last version, stations that I knew existed were not always coming up and it wasn't because I had made the selection to show only available now.

My wifes Android phone had the update available, I downloaded it, only showing the owners manual link, no PPOB.

Funny we both have Samsung's though her's is a lower level version, but it got the update before I have been offered it.

Like everything else, it'll come sooner or later [tm]
