yeah, an extension of that announcement but with more detail, pegging a 2/3 reduction in actual head count. forecast still around 55k units which is 50% more than last year.

If you read it, it's not a 2/3 reduction in headcount. 700 being transferred, 700 offered early retirement or switched to new job.

It don't matter where they go Rick. I think you are looking at it different then he is.
If the head count at the Lightning plant goes from 2100 to 700 that is a reduction in head count at the Lightning plant.

Seeing as you seem to be a stickler for detail, 55K is well over double last year's 24,165 sales.

Can't wait for the regular editions to release next year and those $100k cybertrucks start selling for $80k brand new. Foundation Editions will probably be worth $60k.
Nope, it’s a cybertruck, supply constraint price spikes don’t apply to it. It’s special.

Too bad @Ford wasn’t able to control the 25% price increase on the basic model. I get the economics of building significantly more of the higher trim / higher profit ones to recoup their R&D costs, but really believe that Pros and XLT models would not be languishing on dealers lots like the Lariat and Platinums seem to be.
