I feel like this has been asked many times, and usually the person is pointed to finding the card in the glovebox or somewhere else in the truck. I have to admit, though, I had not seen this method shown and demonstrated clearly. Tim is a great resource in the Ford Community!!

Well he said it was for 2024 but I researched and it applies to older models as well.

Here is the process (requires 2 keyfobs):

1. Remove bottom cup holder liner to expose emergency keyfob slot
2. Put fob #1 fat end down into slot. Truck should be off.
3. Press Start WITHOUT foot on brake.
4. After truck starts (dash message "Accessory mode is active") turn truck off.
5. Put fob #2 fat end down into slot.
6. Press Start WITHOUT foot on brake.
7. Dash will display master code for the truck.

Once Step 3 is started you have 30 seconds to finish.

I tried this for a long time and finally his note of “big side down” and “all in less than 30sec” worked magic.

I went to Ford and they used an electronic device that plugged in under the dash. And with some software on his phone, he was able to provide me the default factory code. Took about five minutes.

I just tried it on my 2022 Lariat ER. It worked for me. It showed the 5-digit Factory Code, not my programmed door code. However, the code was different than the Securicode that was printed on a wallet card I found in my Owner packet.

EDIT: While the SecuriCode and Factory code were "different", they were the same key presses. For example the digit may have been "1" or "2" but they are the same key since each key has two numbers on them, i.e., the code "13579" is the same key press sequence as code "24680".

All codes unlocked my door - personal code, SecuriCode, and Factory code.

This message was cycling though the dash display along with "Full Accessory power active" and "Key battery low Replace soon".

Your 2025 does not come with the factory-installed integrated keypad that this thread is describing. Ford dropped that feature in 2025 and now offers a dealer-installed stick-on keypad that is battery-operated.

I do not know how that one works - it could be that it operates differently. The 2025 Owners manual dropped all mention of keypad programming. You may need to search for dealer-installed keypad instructions.
