The latest software update to my F150 Lightning Pro Standard Range seem to have pegged the range at the max rated range when the truck is charged to 100%, Problem is, in the cold, that number is just a fiction. Was wondering how it would work during driving. Turns out, as you use the first 25% of the battery, the range number quickly comes back into line with the actual remaining range based on the temp and driving history.

For example, my truck said 220 mi range after being fully charged at home in a 40 degree garage, I drove 15 miles one way to the office in 19 degree weather, and it said the remaining range was like 180 miles. On the trip home, another 15 miles, the range decreased down to 139 miles by the time I got home. So more than 80 miles deducted from the original 220 for a 30 mile actual trip.

I would prefer it just to show 175 or 180 miles when fully charged like it used to. At least it was being somewhat accurate even if the number was disappointing.
