Coming on the heels of another Hoovies Garage Lightning video , we have a brand new (not 3.5.5) priority power up update installing on my truck right now.


Of note : I did not receive 3.5.5 and this is one of those separately numbered updates like the tire pressure recall / phone as a key / and now this targeted distance to empty Update

I'm still waiting for 3.5.5, now I'll be on look out for this as well.
Same here, I have learned patience after our Mach-e experience, so give it a few months.

If it makes you feel better, I am in the early access program and am still waiting on 3.5.5. and working preconditioning.

Interestingly, when I went out to get my evening coffee run in, the truck prompted me to review a pending update. also got what you have above.

I started a new thread with a poll attached to track who get it., might merge this thread into that with the poll

They must have revised the 3.5.5 to eliminate something and are ONLY pushing the DTE portion in the PU release. I speculate that no one else will get 3.5.5 what ever was deferred in it will come in a later release. 3.5.x

I havent gotten this yet but I'm thinking this will raise the DTE value. I had a range of 310ish when I picked up the truck. Now I'm getting display range of 255 at 100%. I'll let you guys know if it changes when i get the update.

My update failed to process, two manual attempts and the overnight scheduled event failed.

Folks have found the LVB 12+ is not always up to snuff and a long drive in the truck tends to create enough time to charge it up to the value needed for the update to proceed, I'm going to take her from a long ride this afternoon.

Got a failed update message just a bit ago for this update. So it is downloaded and tried, truck is sitting in the garage. Drove it last night for about 60 highway miles. Most likely the 12v battery voltage, so it will probably install after my next drive, but good lord Ford, check that voltage at the beginning of the update and if needed, close the contacts and initiate a 12 v charging cycle.

Never once with 2 Tesla's in 4 years (about 80 updates) did this kind of BS ever stop an update from applying.

I'm up to 6 failed attempts now - 3 trying via schedule and 3 via install now. I drove the truck at lunch hoping for a 12v charge cycle, but didn't seem to be the trigger this time.

A little help and review of my attempts show this as my status of my 12v battery: First time it failed it was at 82% then 79, 76, 75, 79, 72, 70, 64, 62.

I even had a drive in there before those last 3 or 4 attempts. I figured that would have triggered a charge and it did not. So I just went and plugged in, that is what I did last time and it will likely trigger the 12v and then I'll get it installed.

It would be so easy for Ford to do a check of the battery status and then trigger that needed charge cycle before the update is triggered.
