Heads Up! 17" Raptor wheels didn't fit my truck.

So after reading a few comments on here, it sounded like Raptor wheels would work on the Lightning. Well, I just tried on my '23 Pro with Max Tow and the calipers are rubbing on the outside and maybe a little on the outboard edge as well. Might work with an offset but not stock. I think these are like 2018-2019 ish Gen 2 raptor wheels. Maybe other versions have a bigger ID.

That is correct, 17" rims generally won't work on the lightning. Even if there are some that fit, the clearance is still not enough for the brake caliper if debris gets in there.

How much offset in wheels (say 20", with stock tires) is tolerated? I have been looking to buy a second set of wheels to mount snow tires on, and it's a very confusing landscape to someone that doesn't dabble in wheels all the time. Do the stock wheels have any offset?
