That was not my experience - the Quick Start Guide has instructions to connect to the unit via wifi and you get one shot at setting amperage. If you don't configure it, it stays at 16 amps. After configuration, there is no way to go back and change amperage.
That makes sense. Once it’s set initially, then you have to call them

Wanted to start a thread for home charging speeds with details on chargers and cables to see if there is any consistency:

1. ChargePoint CPH50, 14-50 NEMA
2. 9.2 - 9.3kw/hour

Curious how other chargers are doing compared to this unit, especially the 80A units.
The calculation is (assume flat charge curves): current x voltage.

So 80A x 240V = 19.2kW, which means to add 19.2kWh per hour.
40A = 9.6kWh per hour
48A = 11.5kWh per hour
32A = 7.68kWh per hour
30A = 7.2kWh per hour

No.

Ford only offers the estimated completion time to your set charge level.

(Absolutely silly, I know.)

if turn off the breaker and turn it back on and connect wit the pro app it can be changed Please make sure you have proper gauge wire and hard wired for the higher amp. Pro will need to be a different email account setup…
