Yes, that's been about the extent of it, 10 to 15 minutes and she's done, we have a few more days of teens to get through, what I'm hoping to see is that by Sunday afternoon the incremental heating/will be approx the same cost as warming the pack prior to weekly charging session. Logic say's the daily losses will cost me more than a single heating session at the start of the charging cycle.

After doing todays travels, I parked the truck for the rest of the day, plugged in, the power output was limited to 92%, down from this morning 100%.

The Truck decided it was time for another 12 minute battery warming session, NOTE the cabin was not being warmed, only the battery, 2 kWh worth of energy, total energy includes 15 minutes of cabin warming this morning via remote cabin start at 07:46 to 08:01

No complaints here just curious if the motors temperature gauge is just a dummy gauge. Or possibly only registers overheating. I started up this morning and the motor is right on the line (always is -15 to 95) yet I didn’t lose a single percent of battery overnight so how is it at temp?

by the way, the only reason this was intentional is I would’ve had to move my wife’s car to charge and seeing I was almost at 90 didn’t bother

Did you get input on the electric motor temperature gauge? I haven’t seen it move on my truck.

only speculation that it only registers overheating. Mine has never moved since the day I bought it.

The thermistor in the motor has this range span, but how the modules display it is likely not so concerned with cold as it is with hot.

This last July I was pulling the 18 foot bumper pull camper through the South Dakota mountains at 100° + temps and still right in the middle. I’m guessing just like with an ice vehicle if it goes out of the happy zone there’s something wrong so probably good that it’s always right in the middle. Not an indication of a bad sensor or anything, which was where my brain first went.
