Thank you for the IONNA tip! Cheapest DCFC I have found $0.35. Easiest plug and charge experience (other than my three level 2 home charging stations) to date. Plug in… opened ford pass app…. Selected charger… Done! Shopping for new crossover SUV and will strongly consider one that is IONNA partner. Chester Springs PA Wawa location
IONNA is Plug & Charge with your BlueOval Charge Network account - no app needed, just plug in first next time and payment will happen automatically! Not all vehicles have Plug & Charge with IONNA - but the F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E are among those that do.

you don’t even have to open the app. Just plug in and charge!

Driving from Sacramento to Portland, I drove halfway and stopped in Ashland to check into a hotel. Ioona, has a well-lit establishment with lights, trash cans, and a price of just $0.39, caught my eye. They’re starting to impress me. Please increase the number of along the 5. They’ve added a $0.20 option on their website. If you can find them near you

In my humble opinion they will be rivalling the supercharger network within the next decade.

That's a pretty serious prediction.
I just wish they had coverage around here. Their coverage of the SW US is dismal. Lots shown as "Coming Soon" however. Would love to take advantage of the Memorial weekend sale, but the closest one is almost 100 miles away.

Actually, I suspect that WalMart is going to do that...and potentially surpass them.

I’d take that too. But they do seem to still be at a glacial pace for now whereas IONNA is at full steam.

Walmart is still in the spin up stage. Look at Bentonville Ar, DFW area, or Phoenix area to see what they are planning. Hundreds of sites are known to be in plannig/permitting or active construction. Saturation would be the word.

Very familiar with it.. the facts stand -- let's see them actually get to "production" pace before we make predictions. The more the merrier though, absolutely!

Exactly. Where Walmart has a HUGE advantage is that they already own the property. Most everyone else is having to negotiate leases or buy properties, etc...

The Arkansas eTraveler YT channel is a pretty good resource to see what Walmart is doing.

And for the record (and to get this back on topic), I like what IONNA is doing with regard to the design of their stations. More welcoming w/ seating, refreshments, bathrooms, etc... I have yet to see one yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

My only problem with Walmart is that you have to use the Walmart app to start a charge. Their chargers don’t have card readers and I doubt they will participate in anything like Blue Oval.

Nothing overly unusual about that - lots of charging networks require you to use their own app (unfortunately).
My biggest issue with Walmart is that like IONNA, they don't have any around here. According to PlugShare.com, there are five in the entire southwest part of the USA - three in the Phoenix metro area and two in central Colorado.
