2025 Ford Lightning Flash Job 2 😭
So far my truck is doing ok but I'm having a different software problem. I don't remember to start the climate app until I'm putting my coat and shoes on and then it's too late.
I have a date set in my calendar to set a reminder to set the alarm that tells me to open the Ford app. But then I forget why I had my phone out.

I have my truck scheduled to prepare the cabin at 7am every day when hooked up to charger and that works great. Temp at 68, seat low, steering wheel on.
When I remote start my truck and the settings in the app are 68 degrees, seat on low, and steering wheel on, I get in and temp is 72, seat is on high, and steering wheel is off. Has been an issue for as long as I can remember.
I recently installed the Start Truck shortcut on my phone that was posted recently in this forum and the truck "starts" but does not turn on any climate functions, seat and steering wheel heat are off.
And in the Sync screen climate is set to Last Settings.
First world problem, I know. But still annoying.

I've been having the same issue. I had mine plugged in and charged to 100% over the weekend here in Atlanta in the event of a power outage from the freezing rain (if a squirrel farts in my neighborhood the power goes out). I went to start the climate while it was still plugged in, sitting at 100% and it was like it was in deep sleep.

When I went out to the truck the chime was the default chime and not the software chime.

Made me think it was the 12V battery too, but if we're all having the same issue...are all of our 12V systems the problem or is it a software glitch?

But now I just looked at the posts of us who are having the issue and it looks like we all have 2023 or older Lightnings... is it remotely possible that our 12V systems are going bad at the same time??
Same exact issue for me. I've been monitoring my 12v to see if that was the issue. I have an OBDII scanner, and it is also linked with homeassistant to so I can see historical trends. Battery never gets below 80%, which should be fine. Not sure what is going on here.

Mine is definitely not going into deep sleep mode. I track my 12v independently and it is good. My truck tracks everything in the app like SOC, charging state etc, so it is communicting with the Ford servers. I say a software glitch on the truck or server glitch specific to the Climate Start process. Perhaps it only affects 2023 and older but it's definitely not a physical problem or a deep sleep problem on my 12v side.

I had this issue today as well but my 12V has probably got a less than ideal SoC. Both days now that I have started my truck in the cold it has played the alerts through the dash speaker and not the regular speakers.

Mine seems to have been working... fingers crossed.
