When my charge port had to be replaced in my Mach-e, it was covered. Even though I was still in my 3-year 36000 bumper to bumper, I was also told that it's covered under the 8-year 100,000 mi battery and charging warranty.im currently going through this exact ordeal. My issue occured AFTER the dealer installed the recall modules. They said the charge port shot a code and they have to replace it. They said its not covered by the Ford warranty. im being charged a $250 deductible because i bought the extended warranty.
If you are under 100,000 mi, I would push back and try and have them cover it under the high voltage electrical system warranty.
