I have a 2023 lariat er with 19000 miles since 5/2023, drives great, no issues, was looking at the frunk and noticed the yellow coolant is at the min level. This was while the truck had been in the garage over night. Is this normal? Do I have an issue? I drive a lot and can not get stuck. Any suggestions besides just topping it off? The manual in the truck states to use Motorcraft® Yellow Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant| WSS-M97B57-A2 but I’m not sure if that’s correct or just the correct one for the ICE version. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

The manual is correct. You just need to top it off and then keep an eye on it to be sure it doesn’t drop again. The coolant loops in the truck are pretty extensive and it seems like some of them shipped with some air still trapped somewhere. Once those air bubbles work their way out the level will drop. It seems to be a common Ford problem, my 2009 Fusion has to be “burped” every now and then.

If you search the forum I believe there is at least another thread on this and seems to be common issue. Noticed mine was low a month or so after purchase, took it to the dealership and they topped it up for me.
