Yes I also carry a portable power station when I bring these portable fridges now. Plug it into the 12v outlet on the battery, then use a USB c charger to charge up the battery. If I forget to turn on pro power the battery should still last for a while.

I figured I would update on how I solved my issue with PPOB shutting off.

Lasko 350CFM Mini Blower. Pulls just over 100 watts at the 3rd speed setting. Additionally, it cools the compartment and allows the fridge to run more efficiently in high temperatures.

When traveling the 2-1/2 hours between the house and the cabin I have this
38 qt powered cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N63CSH5 in the Frunk set to -4 degrees for transporting frozen foods.

I have this 59 qt powered cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCZF438 in the truck bed under the tonneau cover set to 34 degrees for refrigerated foods.

We do this trip 2-3 times a month and it’s worked perfectly for us. We’ve never had ice cream melt. I plug them in the 120vac outlets. They take about 30 minutes to get down to operating temps.

When traveling with our Teslas I take the 59 qt in the rear hatch area plugged into the 12 v “cigarette outlet”.

Both coolers can be adjusted and temp monitored on iPhone via blue tooth.

They have been problem free for 1-1/2 years so far.

Now I just need the ideal 240v 30A Gen that will fit under the tonneau that I can charge the truck with so I can go out into the wild quiet places for a week or two at a time.
