My Speed sign recognition not available

Today, anytime I would engage the cruise, I would get the message "Intelligent Cruise Control Speed Sign Recognition not available"

For sum reason, (new download) you have to have the map pulled up on the screen for it to work. Not the little screen.

Might be a camera and angle of the sun problem.

Mine did that once in the year I’ve had the truck. It was random, at night and self corrected.

Mine has been doing this regularly maybe since April. It was definitely a day after a software update. My dealer is talking with ford tech support but they have no clue. Has anyone had this issue solved? There are times when it works just fine others when it just will not work even after multiple starts.

Mine started doing it also after an up date. My fix is to but screen into navigation mode. It then takes a couple of minutes to load the map. Then it works fine.

This sort of thing happens after updates. Normally clears after a keycycle.

Unfortunately it has been happening since April so key cycle did not fix. At least I have the info to beat up ford.

Try holding volume down and seek right buttons down together until Sync restarts.
