and looking at the roof lines, the headroom in the backseat must be much lower than the front seats.
Legroom is not good as well.

If it is really like a Rivian rather than a full-size truck, Ford and GM would feel relieved.

not that they have any reason to be worried. the CT has surpassed both the Prius and the Buick Aztek for the ugliest vehicle ever to hit the road

Great analogy. Right up there with some of the most important and impactful vehicles made in the last 25 years. Prius opened up the hybrid the the masses and has sold 6.1 million in 2017 alone. Aztek (@sslik) is the 1st ever unibody SUV and changed the industry forever.

Agree they may not be great to look at but for many value is not built solely on looks.

While that's true, Tesla has three million pre-orders in hand. Even if one third turn to purchase, that's still one million.

Azteck is ugly, Prius and CT are different. I find myself could accept CT now and reserved one. Who knows when can I get it, maybe 2027 :D

If Tesla had moved away from a stainless unibody that can't be stamped they could now be seriously threatening the Lightning prices.

That the design that looks odd or ugly to most is for cost and efficiency. Ford will have a hard time making any profit while trying to compete with the price points of that truck

The most efficient is a teardrop. I believe the decision (by Musk?) was to use stainless. No paint, no rust, toughest on the street, ...ect

Then the engineers said you can't make complex compound curves with that grade and thickness of stainless. Got to go with stainless, HE said, so you end up with what we see.

Just my opinion...
