Twistier in frunk

Has anybody found any replacements that actually stay together for these twist

knobs on the inside of the frunk? Maybe some that are metal?

I'm just going to buy a bunch of wingnuts and call it done. Tired of these little plastic dohickies breaking or seperating when I want to check m y coolant level.

did you end up replacing them? The backing on one of mine popped loose today, wondering what I should do for replacement. couldn't even figure out what to call the fastener for a bit! there are two kinds, with the single-part plastic ones performing fine as far as I can tell. It's the two-part ones where a "washer" piece can break off that creates issues.

I've not yet actually. I figure one bolt/screw, a rubber washer, a metal washer and a wingnut should do. The holes are .25" wide, and the plastic twists they use are .5" in length. I was going to use a RUBBER washer on the bottom to see if it keeps the screw/bolt in place.
