Nope as per the recall, the nuts are changed no matter what. If it fails then you need a new knuckle assembly.I was told if the truck passes, nothing needs to be done?
im trying to anticipate things and making sure this dealership is doing the right thing and this is my first dealing with a Ford product. assuming my 2025 Flash passes, would a Mobile service be able to change the nuts in my driveway?Nope as per the recall, the nuts are changed no matter what. I think mobile service could do that but not 100% certain. The ford announcement on page 1 here explicitly says to replace the nuts. I’d show them that. It says that in ford pass too. If they refuse, I’d call both ford and NHTSA. I really doubt they’ll refuse to replace the nuts. I think you’ll be fine. i will bring this up to the technician. But if he refuses to replace the nuts what should i do next? contact Ford? NHTSA? TIA
