Nothing, No Word yet from FORD or my local dealer on my Lightning Reservation #10854328 May 20, 2021

First let me say, I am happy for the many F150 Lightning customers have been selected to place real Lightning "ORDERS".

My reservation, made on May 20, 2021 #10854328, has resulted in uncertainty as to whether I will ever receive a formal ORDER "INVITATION" / REQUEST.

My Fredericksburg Virginia FORD Dealer, PURVIS FORD, has provided zero order/place in line/product updates/program status information. Nothing!

While waiting to financially commit on this new EV model, I've watched the inventory of all conventional Internal Combustion alternative trucks disappear. Those overpriced trucks remaining are not what I need or want!

FORD, Any thoughts?

Have you contacted your dealership? Mine said nothing until I asked.

You are likely in the "we'll let you order a 2023 sometime in Fall" pool.

If you think current trucks in inventory are overpriced, wait until you see the price of the Lightning you'll be able to order.

Call and ask to speak with the sales manager. He'll tell you what you want to know, except maybe how many he's going to get this year. He wouldn't tell me that. He'll also probably tell you he ordered his in the first wave. Bottom line is the allocation he's getting is going to mean you're probably going order a 23 later this year.

Looking at the tracker database, only one member [sushijake] from VA has had an opportunity to order out of 32 reservations.

Remember this is a fraction of the real world numbers in VA who like you are eager to order.

I've found some dealers like my own as a bit ~old fashioned~ about CR and not so accepting of the "younger generations" way of doing business.

I laugh every time someone complains that Ford has not contacted them about their order. They act like Ford is supposed to reach out to tens of thousands of buyers and give them weekly updates. Scheduling can change day to day with part shortages and that's not going away any time soon. The dealer will call when the truck arrives.

Have you tried to copy and paste that spreadsheet into Excel? I keep meaning to try that to put it into a pivot table on my laptop to slice and dice it more easily. Can’t do it on my phone

Yes, I already have pulled all the records for both the reservation and order reports.

It is a bit cumbersome though, I usually drag/highlight the most recently updated rows of data once the admin/moderator update the records daily.

There is a minor quirk with a pair of columns merged, so I need to do a quick cleanup, by unmerging them, It would be nice if the original sheet had that ghost column removed.

Sounds like you know your stuff, once set up and formatted your way, a breeze to update, things retired bureaucrats do in the middle of winter waiting for motorcycle racing season to return, LOL
