I put on the Bridgestone Dueler Ascent A/T on mine. I get that slightly aggressive look and after 13k miles I've seen no change to efficiency for my commute. I drive 70% city / 30% highway. I did take a road trip with them (320 miles) and got similar efficiency (weather was worse than normal so hard to tell for sure).
I was looking at these as well, theyre running a good promotion right now.

Interested in this thread. I want / need to put all terrain tires on my Flash (due to driving to mountain top 2-way radio sites on semi crappy dirt roads). I have been leaning towards the Toyo AT3 EV and would prefer the LT version. Can't make the move for 3 - 4 weeks when some extra money shows up. The low budget concept is same tire size and wheels and the stock Goodyears. The splurge version is a couple inches larger and a mild suspension lift.

my dealer had me quoted for the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 for $1084 out the door and the Toyo Open Country AtIII EV for $1386 out the door.
Is that something local or is that a nationwide deal (if you know)?

Nation wide. It’s on the ford website. The promotion is over on 9/30. It’s buy 3 tires get one for 1$ including mounting and balancing.

So with the deal at ford right now. The defenders out the door are $1046(and a $60 rebate through Michelin). The Toyos are $1376 out the door. These prices include mounting and balancing.
That’s a really good price on defenders. I was looking and most places want $320/tire so if they qualify for the buy 3 get 1 that’s good to know

It’s a beautiful tire and I know people who are putting them on their lightnings are enjoying them, but I hardly read anything about range loss with them. Or at least anything noteworthy other than people just saying. “Range is good”. Lol
5-10% from ht to at.

I had these same Bridgestones installed about 1200 miles ago. Your posts about them helped me decide on them. They are a great balance of AT without being too aggressive, and a good bit lower in price compared to the Toyos. And at the time, they were cheaper than the Defenders. I’ve been really happy with them so far.

Price it with Discount Tire too. Ford matches tire price, in addition to 4 for 3.

This is a regular Ford promotion, it will return at some point.
