that’s awesome! how long did it last? was it a ER battery? what was your starting and ending percentage? i’m curious if I should plan to use mine for my daughter‘s birth party
Just seeing this - remember, no matter what you're powering off your truck, compared to actually driving it the usage will be miniscule.

If you found something that took the full 30 amps continuously the bed-based 240V plug can handle, you'd be pulling approximately 7 kW. So, 7% of your power each hour on a standard range, 5% on an ER. And those inflatables aren't pulling anywhere near that.

I run a full tailgate setup with lights, fans, TV, coffee pot, etc. over a couple hours before football games and don't even notice. The only time I worry at all about something plugged into my truck is if I'm going to be skirting it within a % or two of what I need to get home.

Delivering materials to the job. The bed camera is great 👍 and the scales are pretty cool

That's a beautiful F-150 Lightning, Mike! And we couldn't agree more, the on-board scales make towing a whole lot safer and easier!

Lighting Vac Truck.

Chasing a leak on a 300’ poly line buried 32”-36” deep. Ugh. The 3” shop vac works great though long arms necessary to cut roots. I clamped my big grinder to the tailgate, locked it on, put a dull point taper on a 1/4” rod to probe for that damned waterline. I’m to old for this. I found like 4 abandon telecom cables in various states of dis-repair. All less than a foot below the surface.

Transporting instruments for our middle school band. The Lightning‘s ability to transport stuff is insane
As a former band geek and player of both tubas and euphoniums, this is amazing.

do you know how much that thing weighs when it is full?
It's a 1000L (250G) tank, and 1L of water = 1kg, the difference in weight between maple sap and water is negligible, so full it would be 1000kg or 2204lb.

I only have to move it ~800m but even so I probably wouldn't haul it full in the Lightning, but have done so many times on the back of the Unimog.

Did a late night run to the hardware store last night. I just so happen to have browsed through this thread earlier in the day so when I found myself doing "truck stuff" with the Lightning, I figured I'd snap a picture and share!

That's awesome, Nate! And with a network of lights illuminating the perimeter of the F-150 Lightning, you can always keep working or playing into the night!
