I bought one of these for 120v you can get 30amps off two 120v 15amp legs. Not recommended but in a pinch will work.
I‘m not clear what you’re doing here, so I thought I spell out the possibilities and limitations:

With 2-120V, 15A legs, you can series them and get 240V, 15A when they are opposite polarity.

If they are same polarity, you can get 120V, 30A by paralleling them (bad idea and not code-compliant because you are paralleling 2-15A breakers).

There is no way to get 240V, 30A from two 120V, 15A circuits.

You can use adapters to apply 240V to FMC‘s 120V dongle and it will charge at 240V, 12A, twice the speed as plugging in to 120V.

Question: Is there an easy way to test that the two recepticals are wired on opposite legs prior to possibly frying your charger if they’re not? …or, will just not charge….?
It simply wouldn’t charge.
If you measure voltage from hot to hot on the different receptacles and get 240V, your good to go..

If you want to verify if an RV park has 50 amp outlets before you go there you can filer for 50 amp outlets on RV Parky website or app (www.rvparky.com).

There is nothing code compliant about any of these adapters that have two plugs and one receptacle. Not quite a suicide cord on a generator but pretty close. You are correct it is running in parallel L1/L2/N/G with a 50 amp receptacle and two 5-15p. It will only pull 15 amps max off each 120v leg. I haven’t charged yet will give it a go tonight to see how it does and can throw an amp meter in the panel to check draw on each leg.

I carry a 50amp breaker, #4cord setup 25’ from a welder I have. if I can access a breaker panel can pop that in and be “code” if the panel is rated for it. Then just plug in FMC with 14-50p. That is my go to.

Siemens I believe 50a double pole I think it was 20$. Won’t fit every panel but fits most. It is connected to my wire. Just pop in and connect the ground go to go. Nice thing is if breaker won’t fit in a panel can tap the stove or dryer breaker.

Okey dokey. I was thinking RV park. Just enough for one 240V and a couple 120's.

The FMC with the 240V dongle is going to pull 30A until one of those 15A breakers trips, which won’t be very long. It has no way to know you’ve connected to a 15A breaker and adjust accordingly.

I successfully used my cord on two parallel 120v 20 amp breakers straight out of the panel at my cabin before I had a 50amp breaker. It is a really good way to find/destroy a weak breaker. Running any of these double plug cords should not be a go to solution it is against all codes. It may work for you but cause problems down the road to whoever you plugged into.

It doesn’t work for me since I’ve never attempted it.

Same with PlugShare.
I have added over 200 locations to PlugShare. Many of those locations I added are RV parks that I found through RV Parky. If you only want to use RV Parks for charging that other EV owners have scouted out for you then by all means use PlugShare, but if you need to charge in a PlugShare charging desert then I recommend RV Parky for finding suitable 50 amp outlets.

If you plug in both TT-30 legs and then check the voltage potential across the hot legs you will have the info you need. If it reads 240 volts then the two 120 volt outlets are on on opposing legs. If it is zero volts the both outlets share the same leg.

A TT-30 receptacle is rated for 120V. Are you talking about a pedestal with two TT-30s - measuring from the hot on one to the hot on the other?
