Anyone have an idea about this dark spot on the upper part of my radiator. I’m afraid it may be a leak but thought I would check with the collective. I pulled a Kleenex and a few small leaves out of the radiator area but nothing like stones or harder debris.

Is that a picture of ur radiator or condenser? What does the coolant overflow reservoir show?

If still under warranty I’d consider bring it in to be looked at. But you could also take out the frunk tub to get a better look at where it might be coming from.

Coolant tank was between min and max. I know it was on max last year so definitely down some. I brought it up to max and will continue to keep an eye on that.

I may not have my terminology correct by calling that assembly a “radiator”. I have the max tow package so that being the case this is a split system feeding two separate compressors ???

I just went over 3 years a couple weeks ago. My plan is to wait for parts to be available for the light bar recall and have the dealer look at it then when I have to take it in for that service.

Only one ac compressor that I'm aware of.

Munro Live episode on the Lightning cooling system shows the Max Tow package adds a second compressor.

Cooling system and refrigerant system for the ac are two separate systems. Regardless of any of that, it still looks like the ac condenser is leaking.

This video explains the HVAC system:

But was that your heat exchanger that's at the front of you vehicle?
You mentioned leaves but no stones, so that's what I'm thinking it is - see this video:

In that case, it could be a coolant leak not an AC refrigerant leak (unless that is your evaporator) if I understand the arrangement of the systems correctly.

Keep an eye on your reservoir located on the driver's side of the truck under the frunk hood.

Mine just got replaced for leaking after 40 months and 56k miles (out of the original Ford warranty). Problem is the repair did not last long and it’s going back in next week to get re-fixed.

Seems we're all dealing with the intricacies of these machines, mine is at the dealer for the trailer module flash recall and the shifter was acting up, wouldn't fold, if you open the door in gear, it use to auto shift to park, now it stays stuck in drive, shifter locked and the D light flashes, at that point the truck is on, the accelerator is non responsive. Have to disconnect the 12v batt to get it back in park, which oddly enough, it goes back to park on it's own after reconnecting the lvb lol.

I fear there may be some chinesium involved. :bandit:
