Gonna guess that you're going to get less range than without the trailer. And that the faster you go, the more the range will be impacted. Your overall length will also be longer impacting things like maneuvering and charging.

Hopefully that covers the same stuff we talk about each time so we can focus on new things this time around. Maybe a video review of smoking people at stop lights while towing.

This case goes to show that Ford, and any other EV truck manufacturer, is not going to be able to 'wait' to manufacture and produce a 'towing' vehicle for a non-stop 1,000 mile cross-country trip with a trailer - it's not feasible in today's technology. The truck is a great utilitarian vehicle, and yes, can certainly TOW, but towing is not for long distances - it's to give the owner the option of moving a trailer, and yes, you are going to have to PLAN if you are going more than a few hundred miles - of course.

Think of it this way - if there was not a fuel station on every corner of America, and only one every 100 miles - you'd certainly NOT have the trucking industry we have today, and you'd not have someone even THINKING of using their GAS truck and towing a trailer very far. The infrastructure will grow over time, and probably even faster than we imagine, but no, today it will not suffice for long distance towing. It WILL come with time.
