If you are finding the brake disengagement from a stop annoying, you can always turn off Auto Hold in the Driver Assistance menu.

Does nothing if 1PD is on.

Yep, that is the indication that you would get. So why are you desiring an operation that wastes power? What's the supposed plus?

Smoother stops would be nice. Mine has a detectable lurch when it switches to friction brakes. If I try really hard and stop extra slowly I can avoid it but most of the time it's there. It's not bad by any stretch, but it's noticeable. Would be even better if it wasn't.
