100% preference.

but even in an EV like the Lightning with the blended brakes, the 1-pedal is just a more satisfying and user-friendly setup for that driving environment.
This is subjective. Many people, like myself, do not like the feel of 1-pedal driving in any environment. I still manage to get fantastic efficiency. 18k miles avg is 2.5mpk, and my non-road trip average (work and weekend errands) is 2.8mpk. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

A firmer braking regenerative and also applies the brakes.
You have to push really hard to engage the physical brakes. In such instances, I would argue that 1-pedal driving would also require the additional braking.

Everyone has their own opinion on this. Personally I love one pedal driving.

Does anyone know which is more "fuel efficient", one pedal drive or regular two pedal driving?
For highway driving 2 pedal. for City with lots of quick stops. one pedal. costing is more efficient then regen.

Boy, just as one of these "regen or not" argument threads fades away, someone resurrects it 15 months later without even reading it.

This is wrong. It has been discussed many times and I am confident has already been discussed in this thread.

I use one pedal driving. The question arose which was more efficient so I turned it off for awhile. While using the brakes very lightly I noticed the braking coach occasionally showing less than 100%. Apparently I was pressing the brake pedal past the regenerative braking point and was using the physical brakes. So personally I'd say the one pedal driving would probably be more efficient because the average person probably won't be so careful to avoid using the regular brakes therefore not always achieving 100% on the braking coach which I believe is an indication of how much regenerative braking you're achieving. I never actually saw an increase in the mpk because I have gotten so used to the one pedal driving that I didn’t leave it turned off for more than a couple of trips to town.

I really enjoyed the one pedal driving and only occasionally press hard on the brakes to wipe the surface rust off my rotors. Otherwise I never use my brakes.
