I was watching the following (not so flattering) post on Youtube. It sounds like it was put together by a pissed off fired Ford engineer who became a TESLA fanboy and had to make a hit piece to feel better but never the less, it did bring up a concern for me; Although except software updates and my screen going dead once, my truck has been rock solid, as I approach end of my warranty, I wonder how much of Ford recall track record translates to repair cost after warranty? Are they separate issues or related?
For those of you that have owned Fords before, can you share your experiences after warranty period? For the past 4 decades, the cost of repairs and ownership for my vehicles has been minimal but parts and labor cost for this thing are expected to be much higher than I am used to. I just want to have a better feel for what to expect.
