Thats a great suggestion. Is there anything particular you liked about that one you linked? I noticed it's rating is a bit medicore and its more expensive than a bunch of other ones that appear to be similar.

Well it's primarily because it's basically a clone of Ford's built in folding storage bin. All the other solutions I've seen for sale are rigid bins that while secure, don't allow for folding flat to allow for more floor space when the seats are folded up.

As for the negative reviews, from what I can see, it's due to what I referenced earlier, it seems you'll still need the bolt kit from Ford and people are likely upset because they didn't realize it wasn't included. As long as you know that going in, I think it'd still be a great purchase and addition to a de-contented 2024 Lightning.

Nice find, I like mine, not sure why Ford deleted it. Just be aware of the battery if you do the drilling/self-tapping screws. Also if using the Ford mount points - can they be accessed or is the battery in the way? One review mentioned having to drop the fuel tank to access when they had the larger tank.

That's something I can't confirm, but the one reason I always try to buy stuff like this on Amazon is the no-questions-asked returns. If it doesn't end up working, just return it and grab one of the bin style solutions. But if there's a way for 2024 buyers to retrofit the fold flat storage, it's certainly a worthy mod.

I’ve always wanted a slide out drawer option. I have kids car seats in there most of the time so can’t easily fold up seats to get at the storage.
