Shoot, still waiting for someone to provide that confirmation.I read somewhere that the secure code wiring is there, but didn’t look for it when I had mine open. I have my secure code from the dealer. Much prefer intelligent access.
That is my photo, but I believe a Lariat door would be the same from a sheet metal perspective and likely the same modules. It is surprising what is on those doors, including crash sensors and other control modules. There is a TON of wiring in them.In one of the other threads there were these photos from a Lariat.
Would be helpful to have some equivalent Pro door photos.
I think you might be right. So, for the doors, we might just need the handles. The more I look at it, maybe that is the cable for it and its just clipped on there so it doesn't rattle? Might have to take it apart again tomorrow. Thoughts?
Had the doors apart and have removed the white vapor barriers to replace the speakers. I have a Lariat. I can tell you there is a lot of wiring and I believe a module of some sort in behind the door handles. It's been a few weeks since I was in there and I didn't take any pictures up inside that part of the door. Here are some pictures that might at least help see some of the wiring.I cancelled my handles order until I can get more info on the RFA and wiring issue. May be some time until I can get to it.
If anyone has their door panel off in the meantime and peels back that plastic to look inside, photos would be much appreciated.
Would love photos of wiring to handle for both a truck that has intelligent access, and one that does not.
Also if you happen to find the part number tag on your driver door wiring harness and can snap a picture, that would also be helpful.
It was, in fact, one of his posts that clued me into the RFA. There is also the issue of programming. There are just a handful of addresses used for the RFA, so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. I haven't seen FORSCAN information for the RFA for either the Lightning or the Mach-E. Have any of you? That’s too bad I was really looking forward to this. You may want to reach out to @Jesse-Infotainment on the 14th gen forum as he is a wealth of knowledge.
Thanks, Greg, for the additional photos and info. I really appreciate all of it (as I'm sure the rest of the Pro and XLT owners on this thread do).Had the doors apart and have removed the white vapor barriers to replace the speakers.
