Only gas equipment I have left is the 2-stage snowblower. Currently have electric mower, trimmer, various power tools all using the same battery ecosystem. As soon as a decent 2-stage snowblower is out that is not made of plastic and can handle heavy snow, I'll be switching to that first chance I get. Both vehicles are BEV now, my Lightning and wife's Q6 eTron, and will never go back to ICE. Had to drive my FIL's Benz earlier today and it was just not very appealing. Fact that he also needs premium fuel is just barf to me.

I bought a dewalt 20v trimmer 2 years ago and it's fantastic for the house. I still have a bunch of gas powered equipment but I'm slowly switching over. The boat motors will be the last to go but I can't wait.

There's 100 brands available now, surely you can find one that cuts your lawn. Do you need a reel mower?
After my post I did a search for battery electric reel mowers and wow there's many choices out there. I'm going going down a rabbit hole now trying to decide which way to go. EGO has a conversion kit you can attach to a push reel mower, I have all EGO stuff now. Looks cool but I haven't had a push mower in forever.

I’ve still got my gas chainsaws. I haven’t had a good enough reason to get past the finance department to swap the small 16ā€ saw out yet. Big saw will still be gas until there’s a decent 24ā€ electric chainsaw. I don’t run them enough to justify replacement. I really hate trying to start them in the winter though

everything else is 40v or 80v Ryobi at this point.

I hated trying to start my gas chainsaw that I owned. A few years ago I bought a 120vac chainsaw and having the Lightning as a mobile power source it works well. Starts every time.

last year I bought a 6ā€ battery operated chainsaw for little branches that needed pruning. It works extremely well.

Recently I bought this little one for $29 before tariffs raises the price. with 2 batteries. How do they make them that cheap?

My yard care has gone completely electric. Started with some Black and Decker gear (which has held up surprisingly well). Then a Kobalt mower (because they were running an incredible deal on mower and 80V battery) which naturally went to a Kobalt snowblower (because it was also a great deal and came with another 80V battery). Mower performs as well as any gas one I have ever owned and my 10 year old can handle it without any issues (which makes me grumpy, because he should have to struggle with a gas mower and old school pull cord...like back in my day). Blower does a great job up here in Montana, occasionally have to dip into the second battery if we get more than 7" of wet/heavy stuff.

Green....at this point my lawn is a fine mix of fescue, rye and a little Kentucky blue....I live in a dryer, warmer (in the summer) part of Montana, but also have shade trees...so need to mix it up to maintain that sea of green.
