Thinking about a tonneau cover for my truck. At first, I was checking out hard covers like BakFlip since people say they're really solid, but the price is a bit too high for me. so now I'm leaning toward a soft roll-up cover.

From what I've been reading online, Tyger Auto rolls up pretty smoothly and seems tough, though some people say it's not the best at keeping water out. Gator Soft Roll-Up seems to fit more consistently and keeps rain out well, but a few people feel the build details aren't very refined. GARVEE Soft Roll-Up is the cheapest option, but I haven't seen much on how it holds up over time.

I'm not sure which one's the best. Has anyone tried any of these soft roll ups?

Soft tonneau covers aren't going to keep water out like a quality hard tonneau with good seals. They also tend to have issues lasting, i.e. the weather beats the hell out of them.

I got a tri-fold made by Tyger Auto T3 on Amazon for around $200, I'm happy with it.
Light weight but sturdy, easy to flip up out of the way (three parts at the front of the bed secured with a built-in strap) and has a cover to put it in when removed completely.

I have a Backflip tri-fold soft cover for sale in the marketplace section of the forum. Good cover, great price. Check it out.

I replaced with a Fastop Traveller combo roll-up and soft topper.

I've had soft covers on all my other F150's, but put a hard (BakFlip) on the Lightning and would never even think about a soft cover again. I also feel vindicated when seeing others going down the road with the flapping, rippling, bubbling, shuddering, waving, pulsing, billowing softees.

Not sure where you’re located, TruckRider, but I have a free Gator soft top, in western PA, if interested.

Thanks for the free Gator soft top offer! I’m a bit too far from western PA to pick it up, but really appreciate it!

I have the truxedo pro x-15. It has served me well for the last 2 years. It is a low profile, keeps the water out, easy to operate, and you have full access to the bed and can see out the rear window when rolled up.

I have the Rough Country soft tri-fold which doesn’t flap around in the wind and keeps water out nicely. Have had the same one for my Frontier for the past 3 years and still looking great

I have the Tyger T2 Slim and really like it. About 6 months in with no issues. I do get some tonneau wind noise when going over 60 mph, but cannot figure out how to fix it. Tension seems fine and I pull the Velcro sides tight.

What real-truck said /\.

I have had them on both my Mavericks and currently on my Lightning.

Top quality and a great value.

One more vote for the truxedo pro x15. Disclaimer: it's the only one I've ever owned but I really like it.
