Selfish question but... this is my "build" week. Is the striking ford plant a lightning plant? How will strike effect current lightning timelines??

I believe its the Ranger Bronco plant. Still the Truck drivers have said they will not deliver vehicles if a strike is in effect.

Don’t know, but here come the flippers 🤣

Ford might increase Lightning sales as I’m sure Gas Prices will go up as an excuse 🙄

I've heard from a friend working in a service department that he fears a delay of repair parts coming out of distribution warehouses, due to the truck drivers supporting the labor action.

I don't think it's escalated to the Teamsters yet.

Probably so, this was his opinion as of Wednesday evening on a live stream with Ford Techs from across the nation. These are Powerstroke guys, I still enjoy listening to them brainstorm, support skills development. Wish a bunch of BEV techs did the same!!

if this is at Ford's Livonia, Michigan's VAN DYKE transmission plant, that's the same huge operation that makes the BEV Lightning MOTORS.

Ford, like most any of today's massive car manufacturers, uses 'just in time' inventory, meaning that motors and batteries and parts to build the Lightning only arrive 'just before they are needed' from the other factories. There is little to no 'excess' inventory that just sits in buildings - it's all on the road between Livonia and Dearborn.

The only plant down is the Bronco/Ranger assembly plant.

Parts distributed from regional warehouses to service facilities around the nation.
The mechanics are concerned about getting just in time parts to perform service orders.
