The primary reason I sought out an EV was because of the sometimes reminders of the reasons we bought an EV just pop up and hit you in the head.
My wife has a 2017 Honda Pilot which is a great car and one that we use if trips are longer than one day away.
Before our 1800 mile trip last month I took it in to have oil changed and tires rotated and I let them change the oil filter at an outrageous price.
A call from them went over "3yr maintenance recommended services" I declined and said I would check it out when we got back.
Here's what they recommend after THREE YEARS 70,000 miles of driving:
