I have the Tesla adaptor that Ford provided but so far I haven't been able to get it to work. Is there a tutorial thread that explains the play-by-play we have to follow to charge the F150 Lightning at a Tesla charger? I have two Tesla Model S (2013 and 2017) and both cars have unlimited supercharging. I do have a CC connected to my Tesla app, which they require even if you're unlimited. I know Tesla isn't going to give me power to the F150 without a way to bill for it. I looked for ways to add the F150 to my Tesla app but couldn't figure it out. Can anyone help me understand this process?

Also, I have a 100A high powered wall charger at my office. Is there a way to use the adapter with the HPWC? I tried plugging it in and it didn't work.

Thanks to all of you for being a great resource.
Thanks everyone for all the great info. I think one thing I figured out is that I can only charge the F150 at "NACS Partner" chargers. Those sites are more sparse and when I've tried in the past I think I was at the wrong chargers.

I put my adaptor (Ford model) to use for the first time earlier today at a 250 kW charger. No issues following the instructions for the adaptor and Plug and Charge. 160 rate until 80% then slowed to 45. Had to park on the right end of the 8 units; but the cord was long enough. Charged from 30% to 80% in about 15 minutes.

If you have a 2023 or older Lightning ER it should charge up to 80:amps. The 2024+ Lightning Extended Range will only charge up to 48 amps.

This L2 adapter is rated for 80 amps and should work at your office 100 amp circuit Tesla Wall Connector to charge your 2023 Lightning ER at 80 amps.

I haven’t been successfully getting this adapter to work with my HPWC at my office I get a charging error on my phone app screen. Do you have any idea what is causing this?

As post #15 said, "The HPWC must support the J1772 protocol (most newer ones do)." It also may have a "Tesla-only" setting.
