Texas NEVI Phase II starting

The TXDOT NEVI website indicates that they are accepting bids for Phase II EV Grants. Phase II includes 148 County Seat and 24 MPO locations. Bids are due by June 12, 2026.

Grant Agreements should be signed in January 2027. Construction for the rural NEVI sites is scheduled for mid to late 2027. As long as we have waited for these chargers it’s refreshing to get some real dates.

Sure would be nice if our governor would stop kissing the ring, so the DOT.would release the funds to get things built. But alas, I can't say anymore without going off topic.
