It is a rescue function. If you have a dead truck you can bring over a charged one to transfer some energy to get the dead truck to the closest charger.
For the home backup, you can set a cutoff range for the truck to maintain to ensure you don't have a dead truck.
Moving comment from another thread as this might be a more relevant thread. Can I daisy chain the F-150L and a Mach-E (or F-150L) while the F-150L is on the charger? I will have the 80A charger for the My F-150L as the primary charger in the garage. I am wondering if I can leave truck on the 80A charger and let my wife's car charge as a pass through via the travel charger or other method?
