I just rotated my tires by myself. After starting I realized that the wheel pattern is not symmetrical side to side. So I just did a front to back rotation. Do the wheels for the lariats need to go a certain way for aero? Am I stuck doing only front to back rotations?

That is correct, you just keep the same side and swap them front to back.

Same applies to directional tires on bidirectional rims.

I rotated mine but can't find my tread depth gauge. I'm curious if these even need to be rotated. My Touareg and BMW didn't need to be rotated because the weight was perfectly distributed. Although all four corners wore evenly I still rotated them. I think the TReg manual even said not to rotate them.

Out of curiosity, in stock configuration, do the wheel's spoke pattern point in the same direction on both the right and left side of the vehicle?

No. All four wheels are identical.
Appreciate the confirmation, the wheels are not directional (L/R) then.

OP - as mentioned, you're good to cross rotate (assuming OE tires) should you so choose

You can download our Tire Service Log if you need a way to keep track of scheduled maintenance.

I just did my first rotation per FSM(pic above).
9600 miles. Lariat SR non A/T tires.

I dropped the spare and did one tire at a time and finished by taking spare back off and putting it back under the truck. Spare needed air too do it was probably good that I did that.
