Truck Insist on Turning on Pro Trailering

Yesterday out of the blue the truck decided it needed to turn on Pro Trailering because a trailer was detected. It now chimes in that it is trying to detect a trailer every few seconds. When I come to a stop it then wants me to put on the trailer sticker and set up a trailer and go through all the setup steps. Check the video when I was driving down the highway. You can see it cycling into backup mode and back off. Even when I manually turn off Pro Trailering it comes right back on. This is super annoying--try changing screen function while this is happening.

I tried a few things to no avail.
1. I hooked up a trailer and then disconnected.
2. I told it there was no trailer connected and also connected.
3. I followed the Pro Trailering setup (drive straight, etc.).
4. I connected my FCSP
5. I cleaned the connector terminals.
6. I washed the truck--well, hey I was out of ideas plus the truck was turning yellow from pollen.

It's heading to the dealership in the morning. More to follow.

There could be an intermittent connection issue between the trailer connector to the main wiring harness under the truck bed/frame.

The trailer controller dial may have a wiring issue as well.

7. Oh, and I turned the controller dial left and right a few times too.

It was at the shop all day. No report (I was out of town all day and forgot to check in).

I am pretty sure I have an extended warranty in my future. This truck just hit 10K...

Technician replaced the brake control module (ML3Z-19H332-J). All looks "normal" now.
