Yesterday, after driving through some snow during the storms we got in the Northeast, I parked the truck and ran into a store. When I got back into the truck and went to pull out, I received a “Stop Safety Warning.” The truck had a hard time moving, followed by another warning saying “Front Motor Off.”
There was a high-pitched whining noise coming from the front, almost like something was spinning but stripped.
I pulled the codes and got:
  • U0594 – Invalid data received from the hybrid/EV powertrain control module (falls under the anti-lock brake module)
  • B1A01 – Speaker one circuit open (falls under the battery charger control module)
I made an appointment with my local dealer—the first available appointment is Wednesday.
Does anyone have any ideas what could have happened? We had about 10 inches of snow, and now I’m wondering if this truck just couldn’t handle it. It’s a 2024 Lariat with 12,000 miles, and I’m about 1.5 years into the lease.

😂 Snow is not an issue for this truck. You've got a drive problem in the front.
It's possible you hit something buried in the snow or maybe an internal failure. The warnings, coupled with noise after being parked would lead me to have a look at the parking pawl.
Definitely a trip to the dealer.

I didn't think the snow would have been a problem but here we are lol. I didn't hit anything. Well see.

The front motor doesn't have a parking pawl, that's only in the rear drive unit.

Good luck with the service visit, I'll be interested to know what the Tech. finds !!

You didn't see any red/pink trans fluid on the ground where parked?

No fluids. Truck is in my driveway for over 24 hours, and I had to move it a couple times today to keep up with snow removal.

That's better news, but with those weird noises it could be something serious with the front motor.

Agreed, weird though there was no bang before the issue happened. Guess we will see and how Ford stand behind this truck as I'm going into this assuming I'll have no cost.

If it's safe to do so and you're up to it, you can put it in neutral and move it, check and see if you hear anything unusual.

Oo you hear something unusual for sure. It's the spinning whining noise that can be heard inside and outside the truck when you drive it fwd or backwards then the front motor off wanting comes on and the safety stop warning and it's little red light on the dash. If you shut the truck off and turn it back on, no lights until you try to drive it again. It's staying parked in the driveway until Wednesday when I drop it off, hopefully it makes it there. Dealer is 2 miles from me.
