It sounds like you have a major drain on the batt or maybe you're leaving the truck in accessory mode for too long a period.

Currently sitting at Risor Ford having my LVB battery checked. Have had a couple "System shut down to save battery" messages. Killing time by reading the forum and saw thus thread. Will update when done.


Battery tested bad and was replaced. milage = 21,252 miles

I'm confused... how can a battery with 97% SoC, 12.9V and no overnight charging (from the 40% trigger) have a major drain ?
