Anyone have one of these and can post some pictures? I’m considering buying the 75A one and selling the FCSP I just received in the mail. I have serious doubts the FCSP is going to hold up to the snow and ice I get in western Maine. Also I’m never going to use the HIS so I’m definitely not losing anything there.

Wonder how the Ford charger negotiates to tell extended range to use both chargers or is it automatic based on signals back and forth??

Anyway seems an expensive solution that you may not really need.

If it were me I'd wait a bit for other makers to bring a V2X solution at a right price??

The J1772 protocol supports up to 80A. The vehicle basically determines the charge rate up to the EVSE’s limit. There is nothing special happening in the EVSE when charging the Lightning.

Like I said in my original post I’m not going to use the HIS or any form of V2X solution so I’m not worried about losing that feature of the the FCSP.

My point was the rather high price for that charger.

Yeah agreed the price is high. It does seem to be built for the elements though which I definitely can’t say about the FCSP.
